Mother's Day plants usually have a way of being forgotten because invariably they die within a week or so due to lack of watering or simply being cut flowers. However, when my wife and mother of three received this plant I was so taken with their beauty that I decided to give them immortality status. At first I thought they were roses but the leaves gave them away as a variety of tulips with multiple petals called double tulips.
